KTR Writes To Central Govt, Demands Rs 14,000 Crores For Industrial Projects Development In Telangana

Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, demanded Rs. 14,000 crores for development projects in Telangana.

Ahead of the Union Budget 2022-2023, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Minister wrote several letters to the Union Finance Ministry. In the letter, addressed to the Union Finance Minister Mr. Rama Rao demanded financial support from the Centre.

The support was asked for key projects like Hyderabad-Bengaluru, Hyderabad-Vijayawada, Hyderabad-Warangal and Hyderabad-Nagpur industrial corridors as well as the Hyderabad Pharma City project that has bagged the National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ) status. In addition, KTR has urged the FM to sanction additional nodes at Mancherial (3,000 acres) under the Hyderabad-Nagpur corridor, Huzurabad as part of the Hyderabad-Vijayawada corridor and Jadcherla-Gadwal-Kothaguda node under the Hyderabad-Bengaluru corridor.
